About CourtPrep

Making the hearing experience feel familiar.

CourtPrep gives people a private space to experience the rhythm and pressure of a hearing, so the setting feels familiar and they can focus on being present.

Why we built CourtPrep

Our story

CourtPrep grew out of years spent working alongside people facing courts and tribunals.

We saw how much work can go into the legal side of a case, while the hearing itself can still feel completely unfamiliar to the person at the centre of it.

CourtPrep was built to give people somewhere private to experience that environment, find their footing and feel more comfortable with what lies ahead.

Sometimes, simply knowing what an experience feels like can make it easier to navigate.

Familiarity with the experience

01

Know how it feels

Experience the pace, formality and interaction of a simulated hearing in your own time.

02

Find your footing

Go through the experience at your own pace, so it starts to feel familiar.

03

Reflect afterwards

See simple observations about how you communicated, such as your pace or filler words, without judging what you said.

What CourtPrep looks at

Focused on the experience, not the evidence.

CourtPrep pays attention to what a hearing feels like: the pace, the quiet, the waiting, and the way people speak to one another. It does not look at your case, your answers or your evidence.

Those things stay where they belong, with you and the people giving you legal advice.
